Conservatories - What is Solar Control glass?

Our Conservatory Roof Glass Units have a versatile solar control coating. It helps to prevent the build up of heat during hot summer months. 

The solar control glass reflects the heat from the sun back to the outside of the conservatory keeping the interior cooler in the summer months, and significantly reduces the amount of heat that is able to pass into your conservatory providing you with a more comfortable and useable living space.

With different tinted glasses to choose from both household names such as Saint Gobain and Pilkington. Using either SGG Bioclean® or Pilkington Activ™ Self-Cleaning Glass / Pilkington Cervoglass™ you can create the conservatory that is perfect for you, each glass tint offers its own combination of solar control and glare reduction properties as well as an individual character to suit your own.
