The Acoustic Glass Trend

The Acoustic Glass Trend

A report from Business Research Insights shared that the global glass partitions market is expected to grow to £4.9 million in the next few years.

Why?

Because office redesigns that actively support hybrid work ways of working, mean an increased desire for flexible, healthier and more importantly, quieter work environments.

It's not a passing fad, nor limited to commercial offices. Modular, reconfigurable glass partitions are now becoming essential in modern retail and residential projects too.

With co-working spaces set to occupy around 30% of UK office spaces by 2030, acoustic glass partitions with advanced soundproofing capabilities are in high demand, particularly in sectors like finance and law, where confidentiality and noise control are critical. These partitions can reduce noise by up to 45 dB, helping maintain focus in increasingly open and shared office environments.

Add to this an increased focus on implementing sustainability-first focused solutions, and recycled glass becomes an increasingly obvious choice as it meets energy-efficient processes, that are aligned with UK Green Building Council and BREEAM standards.
