Ecoglass is proud to be supporting Rippleacts, a Norwich-based social enterprise founded by Verena Niyadurupola, at their upcoming Employers Brunch.
Rippleacts is a purpose-driven venture, helping individuals facing long-term unemployment to rebuild their confidence, rediscover their strengths, and shape new career and life opportunities.
“It’s about perception, practice and peer support,” says Verena. “Our work helps people shift how they see themselves, boosting confidence and well-being. We provide a range of services designed with purpose, helping people create a clear roadmap for personal and professional growth." Verena recognises that partnerships with responsible, inclusive employers such as Ecoglass are crucial to help people make the ultimate transformative steps towards finding long-term employment.
By combining cognitive-behavioural coaching with project-based work experience and peer mentoring, Rippleacts takes a holistic approach. Working with local charities, participants contribute to real community projects, gaining practical skills while making a meaningful contribution to the economy. The result is a ripple effect of positive change that extends far beyond the individual.
The Employers Brunch in October will bring together high-level representatives from a wide range of businesses across the region, sharing company insights, providing interview advice, and breaking down some of the common misconceptions about today’s workplace. The event creates a rare opportunity for individuals to meet employers face-to-face in a relaxed setting, building confidence and opening doors to future opportunities.
