Norwich Glass Company Visit
What happens when two glass companies get together?
Have a smashing time!
(Alternative jokes are welcome on a postcard.)
Terrible puns aside, Craig Hopper, Key Account Manager, recently visited Norwich Glass Company for an informal get-together at their site.
Norwich Glass Company are an independent glass supplier in Norwich and a long-standing customer of Ecoglass. During our meeting, we shared insights into our respective businesses, explored ways to continue supporting one another, and discussed collaboration opportunities to strengthen our working relationship for the year ahead.
The spirit of collaboration didn’t stop there. Shortly after, Craig and Anna Mendham, Customer Service Manager, welcomed the team from Norwich Glass Company to our offices for a return visit, an opportunity to show them how we operate behind the scenes, demonstrate how our products are manufactured, and build stronger ties between two local businesses.
The visit offered a deeper understanding of our production methods, the quality standards we uphold, and the teamwork involved in delivering reliable, high-performance glazing units. We’ve also extended the invitation for more of their team to visit in December to continue building shared knowledge and understanding.
At Ecoglass, we believe strongly in the power of local partnerships. Working closely with businesses in our region doesn’t just strengthen our supply chain, it supports the local economy, boosts business resilience and helps us collectively reduce carbon footprint through shorter transport routes and shared best practices.
Speaking about the visit, Craig said: “It was great to welcome Norwich Glass Company to our site and show them how we work behind the scenes. These kinds of visits make a real difference in helping us to understand each other’s challenges and opportunities, build trust, and work more sustainably as local partners. Strengthening relationships like this is what helps the whole industry move forward.”
These kinds of collaborative moments, built on openness, shared learning and genuine partnership, help to strengthen not just our respective businesses, but also our wider community. Bringing local companies together creates space for new ideas, deeper understanding and practical ways to support one another. We’re always happy to welcome local businesses into our factory, and we look forward to more conversations, more joint visits and more opportunities to learn together in the months ahead.
