Winter 2025

IT’S BEEN QUITE THE YEAR FOR ECOGLASS HASN’T IT?

It still feels a little surreal to say we won Glass Company of the Year at the G Awards. Putting customers first, prioritising high-quality materials and production, and recognising that our people are at the heart of everything we do, these are such everyday parts of life at Ecoglass that it’s easy to forget just how special this company, and the people within it, truly are.

But the truth is simple: we wouldn’t be here without you, our customers. Supporting your growth and ambitions in an ever-changing market remains our focus as we head into 2026. If this award celebrates our legacy, then the commitment of our team reflects our future, and we are genuinely excited to see where we go next.

Thank you for your support and custom, we really wouldn’t be who we are, without you.

IT’S ALL ABOUT PEOPLE, NOT NUMBERS

In our recent ‘It’s what we’re made of’ campaign, we’ve been shining a spotlight on the people who make Ecoglass the standout company it is.

From Craig Hopper and his sales expertise, to James Bishop driving operational excellence, to the foundations set by Gaby and Roger through legacy and leadership, every story reflected the strength behind our success.

This campaign celebrated the dedication, resilience and pride of our people, who embody our values and our ongoing commitment to reliability, sustainability and transparency every day.

As we move into 2026, we’ll be building on this foundation with a clear ambition: to further enrich customer relationships, strengthen our premium offering, and to continue raising the bar on service, communication and technical support.

You’ll see this through:

  • Personalised account support with our Key Account Management Programme managed by Craig Hopper
  • Stronger technical guidance and training with Ian Snow
  • A dedicated internal customer support asset in Anna Mendham
  • A continued commitment to sustainability and community impact

As we step into a new year, we’re carrying forward our legacy, opening the door to new opportunities, and staying committed to delivering a premium, people-first service you can rely on every time.

WE ARE THE G25 AWARDS GLASS COMPANY OF THE YEAR

On Friday 28 November we descended into London City for our first-ever G Awards as nominees. It’s amazing to think that as a family company, we’ve been going for over 75 years, and yet this is the first time we’ve ever entered for the awards.

We went in with 3 entries: Glass Company of the Year, Unsung Hero for Colin Sturdy and Rising Star Craig Hopper.

What followed was a mix of joy, disbelief and immense pride, with these award entrires, not only did we put our best foot forward, but in winning Glass Company of the Year, we showed that Ecoglass is ready to grow, evolve and lead within our industry.

This award doesn’t just celebrate a successful year. It honours the legacy built by our Joint Managing Directors, Gaby and Roger. It recognises the commitment of a team that has stood with this company through every high, low and turning point. It reflects the dedication of those who lead, those who innovate and those who show up every day determined to do better.

This award isn’t about one person or one moment; it belongs to the Ecoglass family.

And it marks the start of what comes next for Ecoglass in 2026, because here’s the best bit: we’re just getting started.

SUPPORTING LOCAL INITIATIVES

2025 has been a year of real progress for Ecoglass, not only in the work we do, but in the impact we’ve made across our local community, with our values extending far beyond our factory walls.

From raising money for cancer research in honour of our colleague Colin Sturdy, to welcoming Ellis Hopper for a summer placement, and most recently partnering with Rippleacts, a Norwich-based social enterprise supporting those in long-term unemployment. We’ve shown what it means to champion local opportunity and support people where it matters most.

For us, supporting our community isn’t an add-on; it’s who we are. We feel a genuine responsibility to create positive change wherever we can.

In October, Mark High joined the Rippleacts’ Employers’ Brunch alongside leaders from across the region. It was a brilliant opportunity to offer guidance, share insights and help people facing long-term unemployment build confidence in an open, relaxed environment. Rippleacts’ mission aligns closely with our own, and we’re looking forward to building on this partnership in the year ahead.

Everything we’ve done in 2025, inside and outside the business, reflects the ethos Ecoglass has carried for more than 75 years: people, responsibility and doing the right thing.

As we move into 2026, we’ll continue strengthening local relationships, creating opportunities and contributing positively to the region we’re proud to call home.
