Spring 2026

The first quarter has moved quickly and, as ever, very productively!

The team has been settling into new routines, refining existing ones and doing what we do best, getting on with the job and delivering high-quality products for our customers.

In this edition, we’re reflecting on the early success of Ian’s Technical Academy, hearing from Craig about his Key Account Management ambitions, and catching up with Anna on her progress since stepping into the Customer Service Manager role. We’re also sharing team updates and celebrating a few important milestones along the way.

Jasmine Winter completes her Level 3 HR Support CIPD

18 months, multiple essays, 1 consultative project and many, many cups of tea later, Jasmine Winter has formally completed her Level 3 HR Support CIPD Qualification.

Congratulations on your achievement, Jasmine, and for all your hard work in implementing your consultative project into Ecoglass!

Growth of the key account management programme

Craig Hopper | Key Account Manager

For me, Key Account Management (KAM) is about one simple principle: treating customers as genuine business partners, not entries on a spreadsheet.

The programme works because it’s built on open communication and honest conversations. It holds both me and the wider Ecoglass team accountable and pushes us to keep improving, and that’s exactly why I’m committed to developing it further.

Our Key Account Management programme has the potential to become a real strategic asset for our customers’ operations: helping teams plan effectively, anticipate challenges and feel genuinely supported at every stage.

The more we understand a customer’s business, priorities and pressures, the better we can serve them.

We don’t grow until we learn, and I couldn’t be more excited about where this journey takes us next.

Technical Academy Hits the Road with ian snow

Our Technical Academy and Factory Tours are now fully underway, and it’s been fantastic to welcome many of our customers on-site for technical training and a behind-the-scenes look at how we work at Ecoglass.

The training element is led by Ian Snow and the sessions cover everything from Low-E glass and solar control to acoustics, safety and the different types of glass used across the industry.

The training is ideal for anyone who is new to the industry, looking for a knowledge refresh, or simply enjoys Ian’s soothing voice and his generous supply of sweet treats.

Alongside the classroom sessions, visitors also get a factory tour, and by the end of the session, you’ll be sharply differentiating between G-values and U-values quicker than you can say “pass that last doughnut over.”*

*Doughnuts may occasionally be substituted with cookies, fruit or pastries - for this one, buyer’s discretion applies!

If you’re interested in participating in the academy, contact the team today for a tailored training session to suit your needs.

Anna’s Ecoglass Journey

Anna Mendham | Customer Service Manager

Since joining Ecoglass at 21, Anna has grown from an administrative role into a central figure in customer support. She works closely with customers and internal teams, anticipating needs, solving problems with operations and coordinating last-minute changes with transport to keep projects moving smoothly.

“I focus on building strong relationships, solving problems and acting as a trusted point of contact for customers.”

After completing her Level 2 Customer Service qualification, Anna has begun her Level 3 Customer Service Specialist training, continuing to strengthen the reliable, people-focused support she provides to Ecoglass customers.

Supporting local Sustainability

As a people-first business, we work closely with our local customers to support their sustainability goals in practical ways. This includes flexible delivery options, such as self-collection for time-sensitive projects, alongside guidance and support for glass recycling across both pre- and post-consumer cullet waste.

Through our partnership with Saint-Gobain Glass and the Glass Forever Programme, waste glass from manufacturing and replacement projects can be returned to our site for processing. Using the Saint-Gobain Glass Crusher, glass is separated and prepared for remanufacture into new glazing at Eggborough.
