What a fantastic start to 2025!

From launching our new Ecoslim range to having my article on triple-glazing changes featured in trade papers, it’s been an exciting start to the year at Ecoglass. I’m incredibly proud of our team for embracing challenges, driving innovation, and pushing our capabilities forward.

None of this would be possible without the people who make Ecoglass what it is – our dedicated team and you, our valued customers. Thank you for being part of our journey.

The Triple Glazing Challenge: Are We Ready?

We're crushing it!

In collaboration with Saint-Gobain Glass and their Glass Forever programme, we’ve introduced a glass-crushing unit at our Norwich plant, with great success. Until now, we’ve been collecting glass offcuts from production and sending them to Saint-Gobain Glass in Eggborough for remanufacturing.

With the addition of our new glass crusher, we can now support the collection of post-consumer glass, too. Currently available to select local merchants as we scale, the programme is already helping local installers recycle old windows, reducing waste and cutting disposal costs.

We’re proud of the progress we’ve made with Glass Forever and the impact it’s having on our sustainability efforts. As we continue to expand, we’re excited to play our part in shaping a more sustainable future for the glass industry.

Ecoslim: An elegant blend of heritage with modern efficiency

Blending the timeless elegance of traditional windows with the high-performance benefits of modern glazing, Ecoslim is an exciting new product from Ecoglass. Thoughtfully designed for period properties and conservation areas, Ecoslim preserves the charm of historical buildings while enhancing a home’s energy efficiency.

Using krypton gas, Ecoslim is available from 14mm, making it ideal for period properties and conservation areas. It meets building regulations while preserving the home’s historical integrity and delivering high levels of glass performance.

Krypton’s superior thermal performance is key to the design of Ecoslim. The high insulation properties of krypton allow for narrower frames compared to conventional windows, making it an ideal solution for maintaining the aesthetic integrity of period properties while still meeting modern energy performance standards.

In addition to its thermal benefits, the gas blend also provides improved acoustic insulation, helping to reduce noise from outside. This is especially beneficial for homeowners in urban environments or areas with high noise levels, offering a quieter and more comfortable living space.

Recent Promotion: Craig Hopper

After more than a decade at Ecoglass, Craig Hopper has built a wealth of experience across multiple areas of the business. Starting on the shop floor before moving into sales, he has consistently taken on new responsibilities, showing dedication and a drive to grow.

We’re delighted to announce Craig’s well-deserved promotion to Key Account Manager. His hard work, commitment, and customer-first approach have made him a valued member of the team. In his new role, he’ll focus on strengthening relationships and developing long-term strategic partnerships with our Key Accounts.
